RESPONSIBILITY FOR CHANGE

At Marriage Means Moore, the core belief is the “law of Cause and Effect”, or “Reasons and Results”. You are fully responsible for your own life and decisions. Each of us can choose to be a cause for all of the results in our lives or we can allow ourselves to believe that we are at the effect of situations and events directed by others. Those on the “effect” side of the equation tend to have “reasons” for their lack of results.

The responsibility for change rests entirely with each of us.

  • Coach Moore will do everything possible to support you in achieving your own results and desired outcomes; Coach Moore cannot make any changes for you

You are responsible for the cause of all change in your life.

Coach Moore will work with you to identify solutions and offer suggestions, options, and coaching based on personal experience, training and the information you give her.

All decisions and courses of action are entirely yours and you accept full responsibility for such decisions and actions.

You should always carefully evaluate the consequences of various options and act accordingly including seeking Professional Advice prior to taking actions where appropriate

The Team Member, by signing this Terms and Conditions form agrees and acknowledges that the Marriage Means Moore is not licensed investment advisors, licensed real estate agents, licensed financial planners, qualified or practicing accountants, qualified or practicing finance professionals, qualified or practicing health professionals or qualified or practicing legal professionals.

 PURCHASES

HOMEWORK BETWEEN SESSIONS

Homework is a very important element in much of our Coaching Session work. You may be asked to perform certain tasks prior to Coaching Sessions. These tasks are designed to assist in accelerating your change work and the achievement of your desired results. Your safety and wellbeing must be your primary responsibility and as such, it is your responsibility to inform Coach Moore if you believe you are unable to perform any task due to any reason. If you accept the tasking it is imperative that you complete the task/s as fully and completely as possible. Sometimes the tasking will be required to be completed before your next Coaching Session will take place.

EXTRA TIME

Coach Moore is available between session times to talk if the need arises. Whether it is to discuss an issue or concern or share something great. There is no charge for any of these brief “catch up calls.” They are provided to help assist and support you in your change and results achieved. This is an additional service provided free. Coach Moore may not always be available for you immediately, and if so, will do her best to contact you as soon as possible.

EMAIL ACCESS

Coach Moore is also available during the week via email or text to share wins, seek clarity on actions or review minor issues. Feel free to use the resource of your Coach in this way. Again, there is no charge for any of these brief “catch up emails”. They are provided to help assist and support you in your change and results achieved. Coach Moore may not always be available for you immediately, and if so, will endeavor to reply to you as soon as possible.

MENTAL HEALTH

If at any time, Coach Moore believes that therapy (other than Coaching) is more appropriate for your situation, we reserves the right to cancel your coaching sessions and, in consultation with you, refer you to an appropriate licensed therapist.

 CONFIDENTIALITY

Coach Moore will not divulge that you are in a coaching relationship without your express consent.  You, of course, are free to discuss the coaching relationship with anyone at any time. In the case of an Employer sponsored coaching arrangement, the confidentiality statement will be subject to the Employer’s own company policy.

Strict confidentiality is maintained at all times, with the few exceptions laid out below and by the International Coaching Federation (I.C.F.) Ethics:

“Section 4: Confidentiality/Privacy

As a coach, I:

  • Maintain the strictest levels of confidentiality with all Team Member and sponsor information unless release is required by law.
  • Have a clear agreement about how coaching information will be exchanged among coach, Team Member and sponsor.
  • Have a clear agreement when acting as a coach, coach mentor, coaching supervisor or trainer, with both Team Member and sponsor, student, mentee, or supervisee about the conditions under which confidentiality may not be maintained (e.g., illegal activity, pursuant to valid court order or subpoena; imminent or likely risk of danger to self or to others; ) and make sure both Team Member and sponsor, student, mentee, or supervisee voluntarily and knowingly agree in writing to that limit of confidentiality. Where I reasonably believe that because one of the above circumstances is applicable, I may need to inform appropriate authorities.
  • Require all those who work with me in support of my Team Members to adhere to the ICF Code of Ethics, Number 26, Section 4, Confidentiality and Privacy Standards, and any other sections of the Code of Ethics that might be applicable.”

As a coaching Team Member, please be aware of the limitations of maintaining confidentiality, with specific reference to: potentially conflicting or supervening legal and ethical obligations; the likelihood that consultation with colleagues may occur in order to enhance the effectiveness of service provision, but during which your personal identity will still remain confidential unless absolutely necessary to divulge this information in line with this or other legal obligations; and the possibility that third parties such as translators or family members may assist in ensuring that the activity concerned is not compromised by a lack of communication.

Breaches of confidentiality will be restricted to those exceptional circumstances under which there appears sufficient evidence to raise serious concern about the safety of Team Members; the safety of other persons who may be endangered by the Team Member’s behavior; or the health, welfare or safety of children or vulnerable adults.

TERMINATION

You may terminate your coaching relationship with Coach Moore at any time. All pre-paid and unused payment for Coaching sessions will be forfeited.

If deemed necessary, Coach Moore may terminate the coaching relationship with a Team Member at any time with a reasonable consideration given to offering the Team Member a partial refund; the refund amount will be in line with a consideration of the number of coaching sessions left, the amount of time spent working for the Team Member during and between coaching sessions and the reasons for terminating the coaching relationship. All pre-paid and unused payment for Coaching sessions will be refunded
